Clutha Appeal supports FST - Celtic music joint presentation feb14

Vice Chair, Paul Connelly, is pictured with Graham Ednie, Chairperson of the Scottish Police Benevolent Fund, receiving a cheque for the sum of £838.24, from Ross MacFadyen, at Celtic Music Radio.

Paul said “We are privileged to have been selected to receive this donation, which is the proceeds from the “Folk for the Clutha” concerts, recently held in St. Andrew’s in the Square venue, Glasgow. The two shows in January raised £3,350 and Celtic Music Radio have very generously split the monies, equally, between our SFRS Charity and the Police and Ambulance charities and also the City of Glasgow Appeal Fund.

Ross said: “Celtic Music Radio 1530AM supports our emergency services and praises them for the difficult work they do on the public’s behalf, in particular the harrowing work they undertook on the night of Friday, November 29th in assisting the patrons and musicians in the Clutha Vaults Tragedy”
